(formerly Action Children’s Business Fair)

The Morgan Hill Junior Biz Bash is a one-day event where kids age 6-16 launch a business. At Junior Biz Bash, kids don’t just learn about business—they experience it firsthand.

During this event, children and teens launch their very own startup businesses… right in front of you! For some, it’s their very first time—exciting, a little scary, and incredibly rewarding. Others are already young entrepreneurs, building on their experience and growing their ideas even further.

We love watching them gain confidence, develop skills, and take their ideas to the next level.

THIS EVENT IS AN ADVENTURE into youth entrepreneurship!

  • Youth and teens aged 6-16 who are attending school in Morgan Hill, can participate with a parent or guardian’s consent.

  • To participate, you do need to have an idea of what product or service you plan to sell. You do not need to have a logo, website, business plan, or history of sales to be eligible to apply.

  • Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information.  We accept up to 3 participants per business/booth.

  • We have partnered with the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center to offer six online youth entrepreneurship classes during the Summer. Topics will include: Business Planning 101, marketing and advertising, the 30-second elevator pitch, financial literacy, and more.

  • The Junior Biz Bash will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10a-1p, on 3rd street in Downtown Morgan Hill.

  • Participants are assigned one 10X10 space per business application. They are required to bring their own table, chair, tablecloth, display setup, etc. No pop-ups or umbrellas are provided for participants; however you are more than welcome to bring your own.

  • The cost to participate in the Junior Biz Bash Event is $40 per applicant. The registration fee pays for some expenses related to the event including permits, insurance, marketing materials, prizes, and certificates, just to name a few. Shared applications and/or shared booth space for multiple businesses is not allowed.
